This release marks a major milestone in our playbook workflow capabilities with the debut of our all-new playbook editor.

New features

New CACAO editor

We’ve completely replaced our third-party editor with an intuitive, native visual editing experience purpose-built for CACAO (Collaborative Automated Course of Action Operations) standards.

The new editor allows you to visually construct, edit, and manage complex decision-tree playbooks without requiring external schema tools or deep technical specifications. You can now seamlessly build parallel execution tracks, conditional branching logic, and automated enrichment steps, all within a clean, user-friendly interface.

Azure AI Foundry & AWS Bedrock EzyConnect

You can now connect Cydarm's AI features directly to models hosted in Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock. Under Settings > EzyConnect, select your preferred provider and enter your endpoint, deployment details, and API key. This feature addition gives you sovereignty over your AI infrastructure by allowing you to:

  • Consolidate usage charges through your existing Azure or AWS enterprise billing accounts.
  • Choose from a broad range of hosted foundation models while keeping all sensitive incident data strictly within your own cloud boundary.
  • Run AI Summaries, Post Incident Reviews, Explanations, and Extractions in the exact cloud region required for your data residency and governance policies.

Enhancements

  • On the Dashboards > Operations page, users can now create, configure, and manage multiple personalized dashboards directly from the UI. Additionally, dashboard layouts can now be exported and imported as files, making it easy to back up, share, or transfer dashboard configurations between different environments (e.g., from dev to production).

Security

  • Hardened session security by automatically revoking active sessions whenever a user's password or permissions are updated.

  • Suppressed internal stack trace details on server errors and hid the web-server version banner to prevent information disclosure.

  • Enforced strict transport security by limiting Slack webhook connector targets exclusively to official Slack hosts over HTTPS.

  • Removed the internal login-method selector from the login screen, to simplify authentication flows.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where system-property flags silently failed to save when the 'Admin Only' setting was left unchecked.

You can accurately record incidents that occurred in the past using Cydarm’s Backdated data entry feature!

When creating or updating a case, you can adjust timestamps for key actions, timelines, and observations directly within the Note drawer on the case activity thread. Simply click + Add item, select the dropdown arrow next to the Save button, and choose the date and time you want the entry to reflect.

This ensures your metrics, SLAs, and historical reporting accurately reflect when events actually took place, not just when they were entered into the system.
