New features
Inline Images
Users can now paste or drag and drop images directly into the note composer to view them inline within case notes, making evidence logging much more visual. Traditional file attachments are kept neatly organized at the bottom as compact icons so they don't disrupt your text.
Zoom Integration
Added a Zoom EzyConnect module to instantly set up meeting links from within a case. The integration automatically generates a new Zoom meeting, pinning the Join URL and Meeting ID directly to the case record for easy access. It also lets users send invites, track attendees, retrieve recording links, and close out the meeting straight from Cydarm.
Enhancements
-
On the Dashboards page, metric tiles (MTTC, MTTR, Open/Closed counts) have been migrated to a unified data source, ensuring timeframes and filters apply uniformly across all widgets while allowing custom metrics to be added seamlessly.
-
Added Server-to-Server OAuth support to the generic webhook sender, enabling the Zoom integration.
-
For enterprise deployments, we added a script to restore from a backup taken with
make-backup.sh.
Security
-
Validated the login redirect parameter to prevent open-redirect vulnerabilities.
-
Stopped logging the authorization token to the browser console when API calls fail.
Bug fixes
-
Fixed an issue where the severity of cases created from Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR alerts could be set incorrectly when an organisation's Cydarm severity levels differed from the connector's built-in scale.
-
Stopped the case activity thread from auto-scrolling on its own when scrolling up to load earlier items, for long case threads that use incremental loading mode.
-
Fixed a rare race condition to stop the case activity thread from crashing when case action data has not finished loading in time.
-
Fixed an issue where the group list could time out or fail to load on tenants with hundreds of groups. The list now returns reliably for large organisations.
-
Restored non-admin users' ability to see user-readable system properties.
-
Anchored the open and closed cases line chart flush against the y-axis.
Did you know?
You can set up a "world clock" style tooltip for your favorite timestamps? Once configured from the globe icon in the top menu bar, simply hover over any timestamp in the case activity thread to see it displayed across all your preferred time zones simultaneously. No toggling or manual conversions!
