Cydarm version 26.2.0 is now generally available!
This release is focused on delivering customer-requested features and improvements, designed to make configuration, automation, and case management even easier.
Firstly, we've added Case Workflow Rules, which enable administrators to enforce mandatory tags and metadata fields on specific case workflow status transitions. This feature provides greater flexibility and control over your case management and reporting processes.
Secondly, we've introduced Service Levels configuration on the Settings page. This feature allows you to configure and manage your service levels with ease, ensuring that you're meeting your service level agreements and objectives.
On top of that you will also find additional webhook and EzyConnect enhancements designed to further improve your overall experience with Cydarm.
Enhancements and bug fixes 26.2.0
Enhancements
Tags and metadata
- Added a case lifecycle rules system, with support for mandatory Tags and Metadata fields on specific Case Workflow Status transitions.
- To create tag/metadata rules, navigate to Settings > Case Workflow Rules > Transition Rules
- For full details on how to configure rules, please refer to the knowledge Base article Case workflow rules: tagging and metadata
Service Level Agreements
- Service levels are now available to view in the Settings page of Cydarm.
- You can configure SLAs and objectives by navigating to Settings > Service Levels.
EzyConnect
- Added a module to EzyConnect for Mattermost notifications, configurable via webhook URL.
Webhooks
- Added a new webhook template response variable, response.body_raw, to use the full response payload in templates.
- Enhanced the generic webhook connector to support OAuth2 client credentials as an alternative to API key connection.
UI enhancements
- Improved the UI display of tables in report previews and wikis by adding borders around cells.
- Changed the copy case locator button to return just the case locator by default, rather than copying [cydarm:T2N7WN]as the default. You can retain the pre-existing copy behaviour via a system property.
Performance
- Improved performance when displaying long Case Activity threads with multiple inline files, resulting in smoother scrolling and significant speed improvements. For some interactions we witnessed more than 100x speed improvement on MacBook hardware.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug in the modal for uploading large comments as files to the Case Activity thread.
- Resolved a bug that caused pagination to return to the first page when changing case filters in the Case List.
Did you know?
Cydarm has a built-in Webhook Receiver that lets external tools push data directly into your cases. Instead of manually copying alerts from SIEMs, monitoring tools, or ticketing systems, you can configure them to send HTTP POST requests straight to Cydarm, automatically creating case activities with the incoming data.
For a deeper dive into our webhook receiver integration, check out our Knowledge Base article Elasticsearch alert integration, which provides step-by-step guidance on setting up this powerful feature.
