Release notes - Cydarm 26.1.0

Updates and release notes for Cydarm version 26.1.0

22 January 2026

Cydarm version 26.1.0 is now generally available!

For the first release of the year we have moved to a Calendar Versioning (CalVer) numbering system, where each version number starts with the year, followed by an ordinal number identifying the release.

The highlight of this release is the ability to generate case summaries using ChatGPT by providing your own API key - and this takes only seconds to set up using EzyConnect.

We've also added a PDF export option for case reports, along with several other improvements.

Enhancements and bug fixes 26.1.0

New features

Case View

  • A new ChatGPT connector, configurable via EzyConnect using your own API key, allows you to generate case summaries. Simply trigger the summary via a form submission in the Case Activity Thread

Dashboards

  • Added filters to the Dashboards page, allowing you to filter by case severity, assignee, organisation, and tags.

Reports

  • Case reports can now be exported as PDF, in addition to the existing Microsoft Word option.
    • Case Activity Thread > Reports > Select PDF from dropdown menu under Format

Enhancements

  • Draft notes on playbook actions are now preserved when navigating away from the page.
  • Improved efficiency of the metrics page with streamlined API usage.
  • SAML IDP metadata XML files can now be stored in the database rather than as external configuration files.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where editing a note to include an attachment was not updating correctly on the Case View page.

Security

  • Added stronger server-side password complexity validation aligned with official recommendations. Passwords now require a minimum of 15 characters, including uppercase, lowercase, digits, and special characters.
    • Note - this behavior can be overridden via the PASSWORD_COMPLEXITY system property.
  • Passed annual ISO 27001:2022 security audit.
